Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website unitors.com, the platform at app.unitors.com, and all related tutoring services (together, the "Services"), operated by Unitors ("Unitors", "we", "us"). By using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

1. Our Services

Unitors connects families and students with private tutors for home and online tuition across the UAE, and provides related scheduling, communication, and payment tools. We facilitate the match and the platform; the tutoring itself is delivered by tutors.

2. Eligibility & Accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or make a booking. Bookings for students under 18 must be made by a parent or legal guardian.
• You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
• You agree to provide accurate, current information and to keep it updated.

3. Bookings & Tutoring

• Tutoring sessions are arranged through our team or platform based on availability and requirements.
• We take reasonable care to vet tutors, but you acknowledge that outcomes depend on many factors and we do not guarantee specific academic results.
• You agree to treat tutors and staff with respect. Sessions should take place in a safe, appropriate environment.

4. Fees, Payments & Refunds

• Fees for tutoring are as quoted or displayed at the time of booking. Prices may change with notice.
• Payments are processed securely through our payment processor (Stripe). By paying, you authorise the applicable charge.
• Refunds and credits, where applicable, are handled in line with the arrangement communicated at booking. Contact us to discuss any billing issue.

5. Cancellations & Rescheduling

Sessions may be cancelled or rescheduled subject to reasonable notice. Specific notice periods and any associated charges will be communicated as part of your plan or booking.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Services, including by attempting to disrupt them, access them without authorisation, circumvent Unitors to arrange payments directly with tutors introduced through us, or use them for unlawful purposes.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the Services — including text, graphics, logos, and materials — is owned by or licensed to Unitors and may not be copied or reused without permission.

8. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The Services are provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, Unitors is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability relating to the Services is limited to the amount you paid to us for the relevant service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Services if these Terms are breached. You may stop using the Services and close your account at any time.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates and the Emirate of Dubai. Any disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the applicable courts of Dubai, UAE.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
