AP Physics Tutors in Dubai
Specialist AP Physics tutors for all four AP Physics courses — Physics 1, Physics 2, Physics C Mechanics, and Physics C Electricity & Magnetism. From algebra-based fundamentals to calculus-based field theory, our tutors cover every AP Physics pathway with rigorous FRQ preparation. Matched in 24 hours.
AP Physics tutoring that actually works
The right AP Physics tutor makes the difference between guessing on exam day and knowing exactly what to write. Our tutors don't just cover content — they train the exam technique that gets marks.
AP Physics Specialists
Our tutors hold degrees from Imperial College, UCL, NYU Abu Dhabi, and Edinburgh — and know the AP Physics syllabus inside out. Only 1 in 8 applicants make it through our vetting.
Mark Scheme Trained
We don't just teach content — we train students on exactly what AP examiners reward. Students learn to write answers that match the mark scheme, not just answers that are technically correct.
Diagnostic-First Approach
Every student starts with a diagnostic so we know exactly which AP Physics topics to target. No time is wasted on things your child already knows.
Home & Online
In-person AP Physics tutoring across Dubai & Abu Dhabi, or fully interactive online sessions with a digital whiteboard and shared documents.
MoHRE & MoE Licensed
Every tutor holds a UAE Private Teacher Work Permit — jointly issued by MoHRE and the Ministry of Education (MoE) — and is approved to legally teach across the UAE, online and in-person.

AP Physics tutoring — common questions
What is the difference between AP Physics 1, 2, and C?
AP Physics 1 and 2 are algebra-based: Physics 1 covers mechanics and basic waves/circuits; Physics 2 covers fluids, thermodynamics, E&M, and optics. AP Physics C is calculus-based and comes in two separate exams — Mechanics and Electricity & Magnetism — each taken independently. Physics C is significantly more mathematically demanding.
Should my child take AP Physics 1 or AP Physics C Mechanics?
AP Physics 1 is appropriate for students who have not yet taken calculus or who want a conceptual introduction to physics. AP Physics C Mechanics is for students taking calculus simultaneously or after — it is more rigorous and more valued by engineering and physics university programmes. Our tutors advise based on your child's maths level and university goals.
Is AP Physics C more difficult than IB Physics HL?
AP Physics C (particularly E&M) is generally considered more mathematically intensive than IB Physics HL, due to its calculus-based treatment of fields and circuits. IB Physics HL has a broader topic range. Students who are strong in calculus often find Physics C more rewarding; those who prefer conceptual breadth may prefer IB HL.
Do you need calculus before taking AP Physics C?
Ideally yes — AP Physics C assumes concurrent or prior knowledge of differential and integral calculus. Students taking AP Physics C and AP Calculus in the same year can manage with support. Our tutors integrate the relevant calculus techniques into physics sessions so students who are slightly behind in maths can still access the physics content.
How is AP Physics assessed — written exams only?
Yes — all four AP Physics exams are written, consisting of Multiple Choice and Free Response sections. There are no lab components in the AP exam itself, though schools may have an AP Physics lab requirement. Our tutors focus on exam technique for both MCQ and FRQ, including how to earn partial credit on multi-part problems.
